Well that's a damn shame.
I'm observing a moment of silence for all the amplifiers that roar no more. I've been a member of this community for five years, and a fan of the music a lot longer than that. Fortunately, the distribution site, All That Is Heavy, and the label, Meteor City, are still around to soothe my troubled mind.

I know what you are saying. It reminds me of a favourite site of mine a while back entitled the Freak Emporium, it was an essential source of Space and Prog Rock.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was in high school I spent about 3 years on a downloading site called audiogalaxy which also served as a message board. I used to spend hours posting on threads and discussing music with people. It was a great way to find fans of the same kinds of music, but eventually it got shut down. I never found anything else that was quite like the community there.
